In the third quarter of 2020, the price of electrolyte began to rise. On the one hand, it was because the recovery of demand for power batteries, and on the other hand, the market of the main raw material LiPF6 was tightly shipped and the price continued to rise. The price of electrolyte for normal NCM power battery increased from 38,500 yuan/ton to 48,000 yuan/ton, and electrolyte for cylindrical NCM battery increased from 34,500 yuan/ton to 39,500yuan/ton. In 2021, the price of electrolyte continued to rise, mainly because the mismatch of productivity construction between 1.5-year to 2-year hexafluoride and 0.5-year to 1-year electrolyte. The tight supply of raw materials has kept the price upward. In the first half of 2022, the price of electrolyte is expected to remain high.
